The nugget for this post began on July 4th. All that heat, sweat, and messy explosions - what's a girl to think about except porn?

Of course, then I went and had a debauched night with my co-workers, which proved my point but prevented me from acting on said smutty idea.

But it is still July, so I present to ya'll my top five fun porn fics. Call them summer vacation porn, if you will: those light, playful stories with flirting and lots of hot guilt-and-angst-free sex. You know you love them.

1. Scientist, Astronaut, and Nymphomaniac (Farscape)
Scorchingly hot bodyswitching fic, made perfect by the fact that it was almost canon. AU from the end of Out of Their Minds, with plenty of humor and flirty sexual tension.

2. Trivial Pursuits (House)
Mind games and board games and House/Wilson, oh my! What's not to love? (Between this and Denny/Izzie playing Scrabble on Grey's Anatomy, I may develop a complex...)

3. Mr. and Mrs. Smith Go to New Hampshire
This story picks up all the violent/power struggle/BDSM undertones from the movie, and rearranges them into a caper that ends in hot victory sex. With knives. *eg*

4. Night Moves (Supernatural)
researchgrrrl's crack!fic here is mostly to blame for this list. Aren't you glad? Because if Dean covered in demon glitter doesn't spark your interest, you might be dead. Seriously, this fic makes me *so happy*: wonderful OFC, playful dialogue, hilarious setup, and -- *vivid* sexual tension is the best way I can put it. Go, read, now!

5. Once Upon A Time in the West (SPN/Terminator)
John Winchester meets Sarah Connor. Through their encounter, the Impala finally finds a way to be hotter than its natural state. *purrs* Shamelessly PWP for most of it, but the final scene is not to be missed.


(*coughs* If anybody wanted to take this and make it a meme, I think fandom would not be upset.)
