Andor finale speculation
Andor S2 so far has been devastating in the best ways, so here's some semi-wild speculation about how things are going to go in the final arc:
-The Ghorman kalkite is clearly meant for the Death Star ('energy program' my ass) and is going to be the thread they follow that sets up Rogue One's plot.
-Luthen is going to die. They didn't echo his S1 speech about 'a dawn we'll never see' with Saw Guerrero's 'we'll all be dead before the Republic is back' rant just to have him LIVE. I think his death will involve either him killing Dedra Meero or wrapping up Lonni Jung's storyline somehow (kills him in custody to prevent an interrogation? kills him during an arrest for same? does something to either commit harder to the Rebellion or to get himself out of his trapped-undercover state? so many options)
-Wilmon is going to go back for another woman he loves (Beela, Deena) and get killed this time (tragic rule of three!). Might be Deena again, might be Bix.
-Bix is also going to die, in some way that mirrors or echoes Rogue One and Cassian's choices there. My original theory was that she would ask Cassian to kill her to avoid capture and interrogation - mirroring him shooting Tivik - but with Dr. Ghorst's death I'm not sure anymore. I guess Dr. Ghorst could still be alive, or his research survived - their killing of him at the end of 206 was exactly the kind of triumphant moment that this show loves to undercut in heartbreaking ways.
-I have a feeling that Dedra Meero isn't going to survive (possibly that's wishful thinking). But she might, like, get transferred to the Death Star or something. My pre-S2 theory was that Syril would lead to her downfall somehow - which might still be the case, depending on the emotional fallout from his death.
-No clue what's going to happen with Mon Mothma and her family. Not sure if Vel will survive or not (I called that either her relationship with Cinta or one of them would not survive; could be both of them die), I'm hoping we see what happens with Perrin and Leida after Mon's dramatic exit but they could very well leave it painfully ambigous.

I also now realize that this post is not from who I thought it was from, omg, so sorry to comment for the first time out of the blue like this, lol! Receiving this Andor information may have scrambled my brain a little. (Iirc I followed originally via a comment you left on one of my fics, I always enjoy your fic rec and media thoughts posts! <3)
