'little assassin girls' is the story of how Natasha and Aisha al-Fadhil from the Losers met when they were little girls, on opposite sides of the Soviet-Afghan war. (confusingly, this means it needs to be comics-verse for Losers and movie-verse for Avengers to get them to be the right age and in the right region, because the reverse would put Aisha in Africa and Natasha at age 70-something)

This sounds fantastic. And you can get away with making Natasha whatever age you like, considering the comics. I don't know what they're going to do in movieverse, but it's not outside the realm of possibility she'll end up being from the same era as Cap and Bucky.

It's interesting - I love reading people's stories where Natasha has her comics background and long life (irnan's Interesting Landings series, for example), but I always write her as normal human for movieverse, if maybe a little older than Scarlet Johansson. I think my brain likes the symmetry of having 3 normals to 3 superpowered people on the team ;)
