dira: Post the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous.
For the record, my WIP folder is called "ficlets", possibly because it sounds less intimidating that way. You can generally tell the status of things by whether they have progressed from Notepad to OpenOffice.
dreamshare.odt (H50/Inception): the H50/Inception fusion-ish thing Lindsey and I are co-writing, which is possibly the best idea Lindsey has had in the history of ever.
5things Steve.txt (H50 crossovers): Five people Steve has worked with who are arguably just as crazy as he is. Multi-crossover, but only the B13 section is written.
messages.odt (B13): in-between-movies fic, now titled Phone Tag. 5 messages Leito left for Damien, and one Damien left for Leito. Fully written, just waiting beta from someone who's not Lindsey.
aftermath.odt (B13): porn-y post-B13:U fic. Stalled because it's porn-y, and sex is HARD.
free passage (B13): misc B13 conversations; title comes from first convo, about Leito's relationship with the 5 Gangs.
Alain.txt (B13): backstory for Phone Tag OC
feel like a soldier.odt (Inception): Arthur backstory. (which is *clearly* a genre that is lacking attention in this fandom, right? *eyeroll*)
coffee for Olivia.txt (Fringe/NCIS): Olivia meets Gibbs' team while she's a special investigator in the Marines. Behold my mighty Wikipedia research skills as I grapple with jurisdiction.
swim for shore.odt (H50): AU where Danny wasn't assigned the Jack McGarrett murder. REALLY excited about this one.
Illyan watches MFU.txt (Vorkosigan): self-explanatory, meta, and indulgent
drabbles.txt: half-written drabbles and ideas, mostly stillborn
5things Brad.txt (GenKill): 5 people Brad Colbert is probably not related to. Multi-crossover

Hello, My Name Is.txt: Bones, Castle and McGee are panelists at a con. Largely impeded by my vanishing experience with cons.
mayor.txt (Life): Seavers becomes mayor, and calls Charlie to freak out a little
10things Martha.txt (DW crossover): 10 people Martha looked up after the Year That Wasn't. Multi-crossover. (seeing a trend?)
dazed and confused.odt (NCIS/LA): Callen & Gibbs backstory
shuttle AU.odt (ST reboot): ah, the Kirk-grew-up-on-the-Narada trope. Longish, 70% written, probably the most action I've ever tried to write. Stalled out because I have convinced myself it is too melodramatic.
Brick-VM.odt: Brick/Veronica Mars post-canon casefile Lindsey and I are co-writing. Stalled out due to plot difficulties.
WC-UB.txt: in which Wilhelmina is related to June. There's a Neal&Peter involvement with Connor and the FBI, blah blah, but mostly written for the first thing.
CM-SPN prison au.txt: meant to be a long, interrogation-heavy AU where Dean was caught by the FBI in Nightshifter, and the events of S2 played out without him.
ATF long AU.txt (Mag7): meant to be a Ezra-joins-the-team Mag7 ATF AU. Actually well-outlined (it has an ending! and an arc! *gasp*), but largely unwritten.
andy meets calvin.txt: Andy from Toy Story's college roommate is Calvin from Calvin & Hobbes. Except someone wrote The Roommate of +10 Confusion and did it ten million times better, so it's doomed to be a drabble if ever finished.
Cap swing.txt (Marvel): 5 times Steve Rogers danced. I'm really fond of what I have, I should finish this. Intimidated because I have not actually read any canon.
Cas HotH drabble (SPN): Castiel has a near-miss with Dean in Houses of the Holy. Would require actually re-watching the ep to finish, and SPN and I are currently on the outs.
Mary-Irene epistolary.txt (Holmes 2009): self-explanatory
coda.odt (SPN): S5 finale coda. Wow, this thing stalled out within *sentences* of being finished. I completely forgot about it.
first hat (Alice): Hatter backstory, fusion with Tim Burton's movie
Duchess scar.txt (Alice): Duchess/Jack vignette for Alice miniseries
ozma.txt (Oz books): that canonical-transgender Ozma fic I've been trying to write for Lindsey for ages
Hatter in hospital.txt (Alice): Hatter trying to track down Alice, between Wonderland and that last scene
Jeffersonian lunch.txt (Bones/Pretender): Hodgins and Jarod have lunch regularly just after H broke up with Angela and Jarod is working a pretend
Rand fic.txt (ST reboot): meant to be reboot longfic focusing around Rand, who gets asked to spy on Kirk but is inevitably won over. I lost interest in the fandom before amassing enough research to really dig in, but I still want to write it. Maybe after the next movie.
ST chess fic.odt (ST reboot): three games of chess Kirk plays (reboot-verse)
regs drabble.txt (ST reboot): Jim Kirk and the rationale behind his ability to quote SF regulations chapter and verse
Lev-M7.txt (Leverage/Mag7): the outline and opening scene of what will someday be The Tascosa Job
makeup.txt (Life): missing scene from One. I wrote this in the airport after watching the Life finale, but then Lindsey told me I should completely re-write it and I couldn't.
I did not realize I had that many. A lot of these are within shouting distance of being done, too.... *winces*

You read the Oz books! I knew I liked you! It's crazy how many people 'love Oz' and have only seen the movie - makes it very hard to explain the whole "Ozma was turned into a boy as a baby and raised by a witch, and then after having adventures gets magically turned back into a pretty pretty princess" thing. There were bound to be some interesting issues from that, right? Aside from her obvious and totally justified girlcrush on Dorothy, for example.
