Indulge me. I just spent 10 hours straight editing my documentary, fueled only by peanut butter crackers and a thunderstorm. I can't tell if I have a crush on Final Cut Pro or Stockholm Syndrome. The doc turned out well, but I'm too tense-tired to fall asleep. I remember the last time I was this tired: I started making fun of myself for not going to bed, only to stop halfway through and go, "Wait, what?"

The doc was about epigenetics, which is the study of genetic control and phenotypic expression - in layman's terms, it's about the different methods of controlling how DNA is expressed in different cells. For instance, a nerve cell and a muscle cell have the exact same genetic code - all the same base pairs in the same sequence - but they do completely different things. How? That's epigenetics.
I will attempt to post about Miss Parker tomorrow.
