Except for crack_impala, because that's how I found out about sevenfists's Firefly/Supernatural crossovers: Weight and Motion, Wild and Unwise, and Core and Rind, in that order. Holy shit, it's awesome. All the character voices are wonderful, which is damn hard with Firefly, and Dean is perfect from word one. I love the way she writes Mal, who hides from even himself. Dean's struggle to adjust is heartbreaking, subtle, and something that isn't shown enough in crossovers with such disparate worlds.

Seriously, I could write an essay about this damn fic. Wow. When did it get to be so late? Maybe I should start that Spanish essay....

I'm not. I don't read Supernatural OR crossover fic!

However, let us discuss fic. And when I say "discuss", I really mean "let me order you to read something!"

I have recently discovered mina_de_malfois, and I'll be honest, I'm entralled. It's witty and sweet and has managed to kill me of OTP despite being about original characters. (and yes, the latter is always important to my fic-reading experience. Sigh.) I think you should read it alllll, or at least give in a try. And become obsessed and amused at how it portrays fandom life. And then squee over it with me.
