My favorite time of year has come, and I'm so happy you're writing one of these beloved fandoms for me! If you'd like more information about my tastes, extensive squeeing about the fandoms/characters, and/or specific prompts, please continue below. If that sort of thing doesn't inspire you, please just know that my Do Not Wants are incest, amputation/maiming, main character death, daddy/mommy kink, & ageplay.

-amputation/maiming: please no actual depiction of amputation/permanently disabling injuries or their immediate aftermath. Amputee/disabled characters are fine, I just find reading descriptions of that kind of trauma very distressing.
-main character death: canonical/past/minor character death is fine, but for Yuletide I'd rather not read anything about my requested characters dying.
-daddy/mommy kink: I think this one's a corollary to the incest squick? I enjoy power dynamics play or BDSM umbrella kink, but as soon as someone says or thinks 'daddy/mommy' in a erotic scene, my libido = killed. No thank you.
-ageplay: ditto
RATHER NOT
-infidelity/adultery: I can read this, but it almost always makes me loathe the betraying character, which is no fun (unless they're the villain, I guess). Please avoid!
-evil AUs (mobsters, willing villains, serial killers): these just do not interest me (stories where someone is forced to do terrible things under duress = my jam! voluntary evil = very not!)
I generally have no preference between gen and shippy stories, and love a wide range of (a)sexuality, kinks, and relationship types that seem in-character. If I do ship something and mention it in the fandom details below), please don't feel obliged to write it if you don't ship it - I will enjoy gen for any of these characters just as much, and you should get to write a story you love, too. Optional details are optional!

I'd love some more post-canon closure for these detectives! I loved the hints that they seem to have subconscious memories of the previous timeline, and while I'd love more of what we saw in the epilogue, I'm also curious if that carries over the people they didn't love as well - do Hillinghead's reactions to his coworkers shift, like with the coroner who murdered him? Does Whiteman get along with his boss better after their alliance, or worse with Farrell, or have a weird encounter with famous concert pianist Polly Hillinghead on a case? Is Shahara haunted by Syed and Elias?
Nine Worlds
Ludvic Omo
There is just not enough Ludvic-centric fic out there! He tends to show up as the rock-steady loyal and dependable friend - which is all very true, but there's so much more going on under the surface. He knew about Fitzroy being His Radiancy for literal centuries without telling anyone! He composes epic poetry in his head! He has a whole secret bar-restaurant-library complex that he built out of survivor's guilt and Kip's lectures!
Also, I'm beginning to think that Ludvic's sense of self-worth is just as bad as Kip's, if not worse. He might be a great fighter and Commander, but he WANTED to be a healer (like his mother? it's unclear what an Azilinti witch does exactly, but she was sent to one initially for an abortion, so healing/medicine seems part of it), and he says he applied to the Guard because he was sick of killing and violence - so the things he's considered best at are not the things he really values himself. In giving his story to Kip, he talks about wanting to leave Woodlark at sixteen, and there's a whole unspoken weight of how miserable he probably was, as the illegitimate son of an taboo underage sexual affair. He talks about how he was thought stupid because of his illiteracy, and sometimes slips into talking about himself like he still believes it. The way he hesitates over telling Kip that his father is Masseo... Kip just blithely goes on to think that he'll have to see if Masseo is worthy of being Ludvic's dad, but doesn't SAY that, and I think Ludvic is so hesitant because he DOESN'T feel worthy, the same way Kip doesn't feel like he can be Fitzroy's equal. And then on top of all that, the guilt and failure of having to keep the lethal quarantine of Woodlark, losing his mother and all his other family except the father he never met, being ostracized (again) by the other survivors... And then he's VISIBLY shocked when Kip invites him to retire to the Vangavaye-ve with him! After living with Kip for months, and being his friend for centuries! Oh, honey.
*clear throat* Anyway, he's got a lot of depths and trauma to explore. I'd especially love a story looking at events around the heart attack: breaking the taboos, his near-execution, his clear depression, and living with Kip afterwards while undergoing purification. I've kinda started wondering if he got some emotional transfer from Fitzroy when they touched, the way that Kip did during the Viceroy ceremony. Fitzroy does say in ATFOTS that he's only formed telepathic connections in a few moments of "great magic and great emotion" - and the heart attack DEFINITELY qualifies as both, except all the emotion was negative: pain, fear, the despair of dying right when he was about to be free, of never seeing his old friends, of never being fully known by his new ones. And Ludvic was holding his hand through that for hours (and it's never clear if the touch physically hurt him or not). If he did get some of that emotion, especially knowing the truth about Fitzroy/HR, it might explain while he was triggered into such a deep depression that he almost let himself get executed.
But that's just my pet theory! I'd love anything that explores Ludvic in more depth, and since Victoria doesn't seem to have any plans for writing in his POV, I must seek out fanfic!
Goblin Emperor
Maia, Csevet, Thara

I'm so excited for the new book coming out next year, but I need something to tide me over, hah. I would love to read a story with any combination of these three: Csevet's POV on Thara back in TGE, Maia and Csevet finding out about Thara's misadventures in TGOS, the three of them meeting again in the future all settled into themselves, Csevet backstory (always!), Csevet and Maia's mutual loyalty and devotion and affection, Thara and Iana inching closer to being together, Thara dealing with his loss of his gift post-TGOS, Thara's first encounter with a ghoul, Thara and Tomasaran sorting out their personal and professional and student-teacher relationship after the upset of TGOS, Tomasaran's (changing) perspective on Thara, etc. etc.
My prompt from a previous year is also still relevant: I loved The Grief of Stones but I was DYING for a little more comfort for Thara at the end of it. Poor man, just let him rest! (okay, no, I do also enjoy watching him suffer nobly, and being stoically competent and unintentionally intimidating and endlessly compassionate. But a little gentleness for him would be nice after all that trauma, and that's what fanfic is for!) I do enjoy Thara and Iäna's relationship if you want go romantic, and I'd be curious to see Maia's outside POV on the events in Amalo (you can't tell me Maia who loves wonder tales and his friends would not be all over the news about the ghoul or the revethavar), or Tomasaran's thoughts on Thara, or more glimpses into Thara's backstory.
I do ship Maia/Csevet but I know it's a hard pairing to work out so no pressure; I also enjoy poly with Csethiro. I also ship Thara/Iana!
Temeraire
Laurence, Tharkay, Temeraire, Emily Roland

This looks like it will be the last year for Temeraire at Yuletide, so I'd love some fic about any of these characters! I adore all of them, and they've travelled together for so long I'd love missing scenes with Laurence teaching Emily or Temeraire, Emily as Temeraire's crew, Tharkay and Emily over the years, Laurence and Tharkay having conversations about anything really. Anything post-canon is also fantastic! Laurence and Tharkay and Temeraire at Tharkay's Scottish manor, Emily growing up and into her badass self (and maybe having a come-out ball, poor dear), Temeraire's adventures in politics, Laurence sorting out his trauma and social ostracization now that's he's considered a hero again, Tharkay dealing with returning to his childhood home after all that happened, etc etc.
I do ship Laurence/Tharkay pretty hard but I love their friendship as well. Please no Temeraire/humans or Emily/any of the adults.
