Admittedly I need no more new fics but that's never stopped me before.

Do you have anything in the regency trope area, or that sort of fancy rules & manners style?

This is a deeper cut, but do you know of any fics that do the lakehouse trope - ie two people communicate living in different times through letters or whatever method. I think I saw one using emails once.

Oooh, that's a good one. And a hard one! The first thing that springs to mind is actually an anime movie called Your Name, which is bodyswap shenanigans and has a written communication element as well. It's SUCH a good and beautiful movie, if you haven't seen it already. If you HAVE seen it already, there's a far less quality Wangxian fic out there that spoiled me for the movie (but did not ruin it, because nothing could), but I can't find it right now.

A classic! I shall keep to shorter works so this stays a fun treat. <3

First, torch's hilarious Star Wars prequel/Heyer fusion The Quiet Padawan, aka the one about Qui-Gon choosing to train Obi-Wan but written in a Heyer-esque marriage-market tone. Extremely on point!

Second, sisabet's Whatta Man vid of the Pride & Prejudice miniseries. Perfection!

Third, this Regency/historical romance multifandom vid It's Raining Men by Jiab is no longer anywhere online I can find, but it's so charming I put it on my Dropbox for you.

And fourth, if you want something longer and/or a completely different mode of fancy manners, Chrysanthemum Flowers and Jade Daggers is sufficiently AU that you don't need to be familiar with Guardian, just enjoy the arranged marriage and identity shenanigans in a vaguely historical Chinese setting.
