S: What's a headcanon you have?

Sam Wilson was popular in high school: funny, smart, handsome, athletic, easygoing, good taste in music, confident. But he didn't have many close friends or people he confided in, even though he himself was the best listener. So everybody was REALLY confused when he joined the Air Force instead of going to college. And then he got into the EXO program, and somehow Riley was that guy that he could tell everything to, which he hadn't really had before.

1) Parker/Hardison/Eliot from Leverage
I mean, seriously, there's no other way S5 makes sense. It's word-of-God canon, even. They literally say "for better or worse" and promise "til my dying day". They have distinct relationships between each side of the triangle but equal affection and respect, and somehow they balance each other out into something healthy despite all being half-broken weirdos individually. And they literally fight crime together and throw themselves off tall things with the total faith of being caught and hold wordless conversations. *happy sigh* I ship them so much.

2) Don/Kathy/Cosmo from Singin' in the Rain
Everyone's on the same page on this, right? How could they not be? I love how they work together and make each other laugh; I love how Cosmo and Don team up to let Kathy know she's great, and Don and Kathy team up to let Cosmo know he's wanted, and Kathy and Cosmo team up to deflate Don's ego and jolly him out of his melodramatic episodes. Plus, dancing together in a musical = 'they're having sex or want to have sex' like 90% of the time. FACT.

I'm gonna have to cheat on this, because at minimum inmyriadbits ships things that I ship, and I usually pick up rarer pairings from particularly compelling fic. But let's see, some obscure ones... Huntress/The Question from Justice League Unlimited, Ozma/Dorothy from the Oz books, and Glen/Russell from Weekend all at least have stories (the first extant one for the latter was written for me for Yuletide, so that almost counts!). Oh, Gilbert/Iris from The Lady Vanishes!

P: Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas).

Hmmm. I'm trying to think of a Rivers of London one for you.... What if Lesley was the one that Nightingale found first and chose for an apprentice? I feel like Peter would still have been pulled in eventually that way, because he's absurdly curious, but the showdown with Mister Punch might have turned out quite differently, which could have huge ramifications depending on what reasons Lesley has for working with the Faceless Man.

Peter would certainly have been pulled in, but Lesley as the First Apprentice, yeah. I think she might well have stuck with Nightingale in that situation. Of course, whether or not she would have agreed to it is another matter. But oh, I can see a fun way it could have gone: Lesley sees the ghost, allows herself to accept the evidence of her eyes, investigates like mad - and we know she's a better detective than Peter - and she finds Nightingale instead of the other way around, and demands to be taken on... I like that idea a lot.
