a balanced breakfast
So I pulled an all-nighter last night finishing the draft of my Bucky post-movie fic. I...haven't ever done that.
Well. I did take a break and write a mini-essay on Mary Pickford, so it was sort of like film school.
I also had a thought about Steve and Natasha: I read some meta on Tumblr last night where they noted that Steve had no way of knowing where Sam lived. But this morning I realized that they show a shot of Sam doing his run before Steve and Natasha show up -- which, if you're a film person or study screenwriting, you know that every shot is supposed to have a purpose (at least, in a good movie. This was a very good movie.). I have frequently figured out plot twists based on this principle. Plus, DC is only about a 3 hour drive from NJ unless Google is lying to me, so I think they stole a car, drove back down, and then staked out the Mall until Sam ran past. Then they followed him home.
(Can he keep them? ♥)

It's also fun to imagine Steve explaining that to Natasha as they waited, and Natasha thinking, well, they can't trust anybody else, why not trust the random guy Steve met in the park? Better odds than they would get anywhere else.
