Okay, what were the odds of two separate BNFs each writing 15K+ asteroid-on-a-collision-course-with-Earth fics in two completely unrelated fandoms set in New York City, all within a week of each other?

...Better or worse than the odds of an asteroid *actually* hitting Earth?

I haven't read yahtzee63's Death Before Dusk (Elementary) yet, but astolat's A Really Private Person (POI) was awesome and epic as hell.

Hah, I hadn't heard about yahtzee's! XD That's awesome.

And man, astolat's story was so amazing! I just got around to reading it the other night and was quickly trying to go faster and faster because I breathlessly wanted to see how it would all turn out. (poor Harold, the last third was like watching a snail get pried right out of its shell. T__T)
