Tonight, I discovered that the only thing more hilarious than listening to porny podfic on the bus is fast-forwarding through the porn. It's all "slick.....cock....."Fuck!".....gasped....."Christ!"....[name]!" And this is good porn! I've read it before (hence the fast-forward)! But I was *dying* with laughter.
Also, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to all the people in my inbox to whom I have not yet responded. SXSW does make a very good reason, I think - today, for instance, I woke up at 8:30 am to take the bus (I had to run to catch up to it at a stoplight, banana inappropriately clutched in hand), watched 5 screenings (4 movies, 1 shorts program), saw Hurray for the Riff Raff perform, just got home via a bus full of extremely drunk UT students (and a mildly drunken me) at 3am and had to wade through the sprinklers.
Now: pasta with butter. Yeah, my body is a fucking temple -- in the old school sense of offering fatted calves and luxury goods.
