PANIC!

Panic (or, I guess it's Panic! again) is apparently taking Ian Crawford on tour with them? WHY ARE THEY NOT COMING ANYWHERE NEAR AUSTIN?!? Life is so cruel....

YES, BUT THEY HAVE IAN NOW. I AM GUESSING THEY WILL KEEP HIM, AND THUS EXPLODING WITH HAPPINESS.

See, that would be AWESOME, but he just got *out* of a band because they were too poppy for him, and Panic looks to be staying fairly pop. And I kinda want to see what he'd do on his own. BUT I CAN'T GO SEE THEM ANYWAY. *pout*

Yeah, but The Cab was straight pop plus Ian. From what Spencer's been saying in interviews, they're throwing a little of everything in the mix, including the classic rock influences from P.O. And I think he and Brendon appreciate and can use Ian's rock-god-ness much more effectively than The Cabbies ever could. The Cab was never as sophisticated musically as I think Ian is, and I think that's why he left, more so than just the pop label.

Hmm, fair enough. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. It would be awesome, though. And can you imagine Ian and Brendon being HUGE music geeks together?

Oh, I totally can. :D
