You know you've been studying calculus too long when you start to ship trig functions. And their derivatives.

tan/sec! w00t!

Also, Lindsey's new room (Em's old room) is being retextured for painting. The smell's not too bad, but it's triggering a scent-memory that I can't pin down, and *that* is driving me nuts. *sigh*

Up until sophomore year, we shared, but Linds got totally sick of it, so she fixed up the laundry room so she could be on her own. Now that Em's off at college, she can take over the real bedroom, which is right next to mine for convenient bugging access ;)

The smell is seriously driving me nuts. Why oh why won't my brain work? Oh, stupid question. It was kidnapped by my English essay. And my Creative Writing project. Which I'm afraid will turn out really crappy, and I'll be, like, disowned from LitMag or something. Okay, stupidity/insanity/inanity stops here. Back to work...

Oh, that is SO FRELLING AWESOME! My sister, she did that. She first piled a bunch of blankets on the floor in my brother's room, but we fixed up the desk out from under his bed and let her have a bed there. Linds must have been REALLY tired of you, though, because she took the laundry room. :-).

You will *not* be disowned from LitMag. I love your stuff. 'Member my birfday pressie?

*g* Well, it's pretty large for a laundry room, because Dad was going to use it for his computer room. That got stuffed because of the room-switch, but she's pretty comfortable. She's all excited about her room, though. They went and got paint today, and it's this pretty light turquoise color that she loves, and they're pulled up the ratty old carpet in there like the rest of the house already has up (we have very nice wood underneath, all reddish brown. Who'd a-thunk it?).

Aw, thanks, darlin'. I knew I wouldn't-- I was just being sleep deprived and idiotic. I submitted that piece, btw; do you mind? I'll make sure to let you know if it gets accepted (you'll hear before the thing gets published, actually; I'm on the fiction editing team).
