It's snowing! Beautiful, bright, fluffy snow! It looks like every cliche ever, and feels like it, too.

Damn, I swore I'd squee'd with you. I still can't believe it, I guess - I'd have thought it totally up your alley. Y'know, there are recurring female characters *this* season.... is that enough? And Jensen Ackles has girly lips, for sure....mmmm.... distracted. What? Oh, yes. You may have! I've squeed over MANY THINGS before. And, like I said, I watched it for awhile. And deeply love Jensen, although Jared is more my type in terms of OMGSOTALL. ;) And I know there are recurring female characters this season, but I've heard most fans HATE THEM. At least the pretty one. Er. There may be more than one pretty one, actually, but I'm talking about - is her name Jo? Played by Alona Tal?

Oh, Jared. Sam hugged someone in a recent episode, and got dubbed 'the Sammysaurus', which was entirely apt: he's frickin' ginormous!
Well, most fans are dumbasses who can't separate their own desire for Dean from the workings of a *fictional* *universe* and freaked out because she was rumored to be a love interest. *massive eyeroll* Jo's actually really interesting (newbie hunter, likes knives, budding smartass, definitely has a crush on Dean but who can blame her? I like her, and the actress, a lot), and her mother is a total badass who runs a bar that serves as a gathering place for hunters. And when I say 'total badass', I mean it. Ellen wins at life. Her and Sarah Connor would get on like a wildfire.

Ah, yes. Those sort of fans. They sometimes make me want to cry with their inability to realize, hello, fictional character. I think I would like Jo, since I adore the actress so much. And am insanely jealous of her, as well - English isn't even her first language! And you can't even TELL. But I think I've heard about her mom, too, now. Sorta similar to Irina (Alias) in a way? Had a relationship with John? (ooh, and since you mentioned Sarah Connor - aren't you looking forward to the show, if it gets picked up? I am. It even has Summer Glau to further my fannish love!)

I know! Alona Tal is awesome. She did a wonderful job with Meg on VM, up until they fucked up her character and sacrificed her to the Gods of Angst. Pfft.
Ellen... hmm, yeah. Some similarities to Irina (and I say this without having seen the last few seasons of Alias, so caveat lector). More stable and normal, more forthright (refreshingly blunt, in fact), less exotic superspy aura. She's more based in the real world, and we haven't seen her in a fight yet. I really doubt she had a thing with John because of the timing of her husband's death, but it's possible and certainly a fanon favorite. Also, I am SO looking forward to the Sarah Connor Chronicles. Zach from Heroes! Lena Headey! I hadn't heard about Summer, but that's pretty sweet!

'twas a beautiful summer day here today. Cliched almost. Glorious weather, with freshly cut grass smell and a sleepy, gorgeous afternoon! :D
But I'm still jealous of your snow! Maybe if I head south this winter I'll actually get to see some! :D
