You gotta love curling, if for no other reason than you can say someone "raised their broom in victory." *snickers* The US team sounds so adorable - they just won bronze (yay!), and the captain is a Minnesota pizzeria owner. D'awww. There was also a streaker wearing a rubber chicken during the bronze match. Best. Olympic. Story. Ever!

Hee. This is so weird, because I just saw Paul Gross's movie "Men With Brooms", so I was reading that article and saying "An end is NOT like an inning! Well...not really..." and similar things. Oh, and remembering with fondness how hot PG looks while sliding those curling stones, and during that lovely butt-shot...*sigh* ;) But you're right; the US team does sound adorable. And yay for the streaker! Now there's originality: rubber chicken AND at a curling game.
