Hooray, it's Yuletide! Thank you in advance for loving one of these tiny fandoms enough to write me a story ♥ If you'd like some additional information to help you do that, read on!

-amputation/maiming: no depiction of amputation/permanently disabling injuries or their immediate aftermath (amputee/disabled characters are fine, I just find reading about the actual trauma too distressing for Yuletide)
-daddy/mommy kink: I think this one's a corollary to the incest squick? I enjoy power dynamics or BDSM umbrella kink, but as soon as someone says or thinks 'daddy/mommy' in a erotic scene, my libido = killed. No thank you.
-ageplay: ditto
-infidelity/adultery: I can read this, but it almost always makes me loathe the betraying character, which is no fun (unless they're the villain, I guess). Please avoid!
-evil AUs (mobsters, villains, serial killers): not a squick, I'm just aggressively not interested in these
I generally have no preference between gen and shippy stories, and love a wide range of (a)sexuality, kinks, and relationship types that seem in-character. If I do ship something and mention it in the fandom details below), please don't feel obliged to write it if you don't ship it - I will enjoy gen for any of these characters just as much, and you should get to write a story you love, too. Optional details are optional!

any character or worldbuilding
This is my perennial Yuletide fandom, and I would be happy with literally any story for it. This fandom is targeted directly at my competence kink (and my id) despite the problematic aspects of the canon. I do ship Damien/Leito (how can you NOT?!? just look at them! enemies-to-lovers and dumbass integrity from opposite viewpoints and unsurpassed battle couple energy! not to mention how they LOOK! and look at each other), but I don't demand it. I love the close sibling relationship between Leito and Lola, how Leito interacts with his neighborhood community, how Damien is a very loyal character with very few intimate personal relationship due to his job and his devotion to it, the weird dystopian setting and the hope of fixing it (solarpunk fans, where are you?). If you want to tell me about, idk, Gassman's secretary going to therapy to deal with having someone drive a car through her office, or Tao's childhood, or the neighborhood kids who hero worship Leito, I would adore any of it. Special fondness for banter, parkour, Damien and/or Leito sparring, Leito and Lola being family, people poking holes in Damien's dignity, and Damien's ridiculous undercover adventures (god, can you *imagine* him trying to tell stories? he's A) probably terrible and skips over the good parts, but B) picture him just casually being like 'and then I flipped off the balcony to land on the casino table so I didn't get caught in the machine gun crossfire' and everyone else being like *EXTREME EYEBROW* except for Leito who is his doing-crazy-things soulmate. Though Leito'd probably be judgey just for laughs).
Temeraire
Tharkay
I just want more Tharkay always! I'd love to see some of his relationships with Temeraire's crew and extended company, especially Emily Roland who he's basically watched grow up into a badass young lady over the course of the series. Jane Roland also clearly respects and trusts him, which is fun dynamic for anyone with her because of her zero tolerance for fools. Also I'm curious about him and Alice Pemberton, who was interesting but a bit wasted as a character, and would have traveled with and possibly nursed him while he was healing from being tortured. I also ship Laurence/Tharkay pretty hard (to the point that I'd prefer gen to them being paired with other people), and I'm always up for stories about them living in domestic bliss/chaos on Tharkay's Scottish estate.
If you DO want to write about Tharkay and Laurence's relationship, I'm happy with many things, but I haven't seen much that digs into their mutual load of trauma - Tharkay being tortured, Laurence's depression and probable PTSD after the war in Russia, their capture and Tharkay's near execution by the French. I had some more ideas last year as well!
Nirvana in Fire
Gong Yu, Yan Yujin
Gong Yu has such an Eowyn vibe, I just want her to find some happiness, and Yujin is a good man for the job. I do ship her and Yujin pretty hard on that account, but I'd also happily read about them being music friends or fighting together at the border or getting mixed up in political intrigue or anything.
I told a friend recently that "I want a proper fic with ROMANCE and MUSIC and Yujin making her laugh or something. Gong Yu/happiness is perhaps the real ship here." I'd also be interested in something that digs into the complex mess of what happened with Jingrui's family, or the challenges of their relative social status (I feel like Yan Que is wise enough to respect and value her, but there were a lot of social rules about who could be a wife vs a consort/concubine, and I'm not sure how Gong Yu's acclaim as as musician translates into that field, especially given her family vs Yujin as son of a marquis and nephew of the Emperor), or getting over her doomed infatuation with Mei Changsu.
Also, if you've read the novel, I'm partway through and lost my mind over a scene in Chapter 75 where Yujin is so delighted while attending Gong Yu's concert he bursts into poetry, and Gong Yu improvises a harmony with him. I shipped it SO HARD YA'LL. Whether you, dear author, ship it or not, that kind of dynamic is so amazing.

More of this awesome probably-ace lady please! She's such a wise soul, and I'd love to see her perspective on the main pair (especially Kurosawa, since I feel like she'd sympathize with his social masking tendencies), growing her network of platonic friendships while she learns new things, and generally being successful and happy and surrounded by people who appreciate her.
Also while she's very kind as a person, I would enjoy watching her gently troll Rokkaku for not noticing that Adachi and Kurosawa are together even though he literally helped her set off fireworks for them. Bless his oblivious heart.
