I JUST REALIZED: Triplett on Agents of SHIELD's full name is Antoine Triplett.
Antoine comes from the same root as Anthony.
I know this is a reach, but now I want Gabe and Howard to have made some pact about naming their kids the same thing. Or, like, had an argument about whether the French version of the name was better than the Anglicized version, and the story got passed down to Triplett's mom and she liked the name and thought it would make Gabe laugh. And it did.
