Yuletide gifts & reveal

Yuletide reveals are up, yay! I wrote gimel for [archiveofourown.org profile] donutsweeper, a quiet little Arrow team story about Oliver and Diggle crashing Felicity's Hanukkah celebration. Many, many thanks to [personal profile] inmyriadbits for the beta job of awesome, and to [livejournal.com profile] arsenicjade for doing a last-minute Judaism-pick for me. ♥

I got three awesome stories this year, which was a new and delightful experience!!!

My main gift was Allow Your Strength to Show by [archiveofourown.org profile] a_q, which was a Lockout D/s story that I was completely not expecting to actually get. Mmmmm, Snow's trust issues. ♥

I also got ANOTHER Lockout fic as a treat: i ain't talking no big deals by [archiveofourown.org profile] seren_ccd, which is completely hilarious and full of spot-on, in-character, bad-at-emotions banter between Emilie and Snow. At a bowling alley, of course ;)

My other treat was Higher Learning by [archiveofourown.org profile] backpages for B13, which I have requested for Yuletide for years and adore. It's all about scars and lazily making out in bed, so A++ job on writing to my tastes, [archiveofourown.org profile] backpages. :D

I also beta'd three fics this year, all of which were awesome.

For [personal profile] inmyriadbits, I edited Mrs. Gray, in Scotland Yard, with a Map, which features the Bletchley Circle solving a bank robbery post-S1, because CRIME SOLVING WITH MATH. Also, there's a stealth crossover that I suggested and Lindsey improved on, so that was delightful.

Then she decided to write a treat, Really Is A Hero (Arrow), which is a super-hilarious, super-hot Oliver/Felicity PWP with lots of terrible/wonderful puns and innuendo and adorableness. QUEEN-SIZED BED. It's still funny!

I also beta'd A Season For Every Activity (Curse of Chalion) for [livejournal.com profile] arsenicjade, which is a lovely, contemplative story set in the year around Iselle's first pregnancy, and deals with some of the emotional fallout from the book's events. I really love CoC and Paladin of Souls, and it was fun revisiting them with her.
