I did enjoy their massive levels of broccoli in that story, it's true. (uh, do you know the broccoli test?)

I really enjoy making John suffer. That's, like, 90% of why I'm writing it; the other 10% is wrangling Finch around to liking Reese despite all evidence to the contrary (with the Machine being "helpful" in the background). Because that's one of my other favorite things about John and Clint - that they went through so much awful shit, and somehow came out the other side with a good heart.
