a Monday kind of Sunday

Today was the kind of day where I came home, decided to clean the bathroom because I was already grumpy and stressed out - and my mood actually improved. *facepalm* But my granny made us brownies and shortbread, and I took a shower in our intensely clean bathroom, and life is better now.

Also, the VLC Player Santa hat is back! I always forget about it until it shows up again, but it makes my nerdy heart glad.

ETA: Just got an email from an old friend about some health problems, which he summed up as - "tl,dr: I have a alien baby in my lung, it's on its way out. Staying in [redacted] for the holidays." LMFAO. My friends are the best. ♥

Somebody on Twitter called my bronchitis gunk "alien larvae"...I wonder how *that* entered the geek unconscious.

Also, for a guy, I'm sure an alien lung!baby is much less tramuatizing than an alien ass!baby.
