Signal Boost: New spoiler cut just dropped.
Dreamwidth now supports the HTML5 < details > and < summary > tags. Together they work like a spoiler cut that only expands when you click on it. That means it's preserved on site-skinned pages, and unlike a cut tag you can use it in comments! It's supported by most modern browsers and works with most screen readers (though your mileage may vary depending on your particular combo), and it can also be used with keyboards and touchscreens.
Oh, this is fun! The original post has more detail, but have an example - like I could theoretically set up a recs post like so:
Nirvana in Fire
hypothetical recs would go here
Good Omens
Who else is excited for S2?
Star Wars
Oh dang I really need to catch up on Andor
