Hurrah, it's Yuletide! I love this exchange - this is my tenth year doing it - and I'm always so happy that you, dear stranger, also love one of these tiny fandoms and want to share that love.

-amputation: while there are multiple amputee characters that I adore (Furiosa, Bucky, Luke Skywalker, etc etc), I've found that reading about the actual trauma of amputation/permanently disabling injuries and their immediate aftermath is super distressing to me and would like to skip reading things through my metaphorical fingers for Yuletide
-infidelity/adultery: also a thing that I *can* read, but which almost always makes me loathe the betraying character, which is no fun (unless they're the villain). Please avoid!
I generally have no preference between gen and shippy stories, and love any range of (a)sexuality, kinks, and relationship types that seem in-character. If I do ship something (mentioned in the fandom details below), please don't feel obliged to write it if you don't ship it - I will enjoy gen for any of these characters just as much, and you should get to write a story you love, too. Optional details are optional!

I would absolutely love some backstory about Tingsheng's childhood in the palace servants' prison. I really like h/c so, uh, feel free to be mean to him? *g* I'm also curious about how Prince Ji hid him in the first place, and how Jingyan found him, and how bad his culture shock is when he finally gets out. Sidenote: he and Fei Liu are very cute as friends, but please no shipping them.

Ah, my one true YT fandom. I love this dumb slashy pair of action movies so much that I request it every year, and I would literally be happy with anything. (If you have not seen them, I do recommend them even if you don't plan to write it: the parkour and fight choreography! the sniping banter! the ridiculous undercover crossdressing!) I'm obviously partial to the four nominated characters - Damien, Leito, Lola, and Tao - and I ship Damien/Leito like FedEx, because hello hoyay, hotness, competence, and enemies-to-allies-to-super-loyal-friends trope. I love Lola and her fierce strength, and reading about what happened to her after the first movie. I love the weird dystopian setting and the hope of fixing it - you could probably do some fun solarpunk stuff with B13, now that I think about it. If you want to tell me about, idk, Gassman's secretary going to therapy to deal with having someone drive a car through her office, or Tao's childhood, or the neighborhood kids who hero worship Leito, I would adore any of it.
Sins of the Cities - KJ Charles

I just want some early-days friendship fic about these two starting to investigate together. They're a great and entertainingly snarky platonic odd-couple, and did I mention my competence kink? I'd love to see PI shenanigans, or how they start trusting each other, or Mark meeting Sukey. (sidenote: I haven't read Gilded Cage yet, but will have by December, so feel free to include canon details from the Lilywhite Boys books you like)

Like surely anyone who's seen this movie, I could REALLY use some fix-it fic for the ending. I loved how the movie reworked some of the iconic pieces of the Snow White story, so maybe something playing with Sleeping Beauty, since Carmen is stuck asleep? I do think Carmen/Rafita was a sweet pairing, but obviously the situation at the end is kinda problematic (though I think Rafita means well) so you don't have to explore that if you prefer not to.
Silver in the Wood - Emily Tesh

I'm leaving this as any character, because I just want MORE. More romance! More monster hunting! Mrs. Silver backstory! More about Tobias dealing with the fact that he's finally free, and alive, and not in an abusive relationship with a psychopath who murdered him and trapped him in a magical forest! More about the forest itself, or the quietly magical England it's set in!
