Dear Yuletide Author,
First of all, I am SO sorry it took so long to write this for you. I have two people and a whippet camped out in my living room, and none of them are fannish, so finding space to write this has been difficult. :D
Secondly, hi! Yuletide is here, and I am so happy you're writing for me! Clearly, you have awesome taste in fandoms :) I'm incredibly easy-going, so if prompts are not something you find useful or inspiring, feel free to ignore any and all of the rambling below or my prompts in the sign-up. My only hardline request is that you not write incest. It's my one cast-iron squick, and I would not be able to read the story.
An incomplete list of things I do like:

-competence. I LOVE characters who are good/the best at what they do.

I enjoy gen, slash, het, threesome/polyamorous fic, BDSM and other kinks, genderqueer fic, etc, etc. I am very omnivorous with regards to sex or lack thereof.

-crossovers (just for Yuletide - unless it's with another YT fandom)
-character death (unless it's MPDJK, which I love)

Oh, this movie. It is super close to my heart in all its ridiculous glory. When I say anything, I do mean anything. The relationship between Damien and Leito is the core of the series, of course, and I slash them pretty hard personally, but I would also love to read something about Lola - where was she in the second movie? How did she cope with the aftermath of being held by Taha? - or something exploring the aftermath of B13 getting blown up, or outsider POV on the boys because most people definitely don't operate on their unique wavelength of 'shitballs crazy and badass and idealistic'. Or something domestic with the boys (like cooking, or sparring [shut up, that's totally domestic for them]). Or porn. Or Damien telling stories about his insane undercover shenanigans over wine. I just want more of this absurd, endearing universe.

Obviously the BDSM thing is *totally optional*, but it gets at the aspect of Snow that is the reason I came back to this for Yuletide, and a personal favorite dynamic of mine: the very loyal, very principled character who ends up betrayed and jaded and hides their idealism under a prickly shield of assholery and snark. (see also: Clint Barton, Leito, Moon, John Reese, Dani Reese, Tharkay, etc, etc) But I guess the really fun part is when someone makes it through their defensive lines, romantically or otherwise. I'd love to see Emilie negotiating that with Snow, and also growing into her natural 'get shit done' personality that has apparently been hiding under the 'good politician's daughter facade'. (Did I mention my competence thing? Totally applies here.)

This was a last minute request for me - I saw the movie right before signups and loved it, particularly Yukio, who hit my loyalty-competence-snark-wounded-past button like a hammer. I also love complicated family relationships, and that's certainly present in spades. No specific ideas for this one, except that Yukio mentioned sending Mariko emails at one point, and I do love me some epistolary fic.... But, whatever floats your boat! :)

Okay, I'm actually super fannish about this entire series and the world and everyone, but I also really really want Selis fic and thought no one would write it for me outside of Yuletide since she's a minor character who only appeared in the first book. She was just so endearingly cranky, but clearly smart and sneaky and tolerant enough to figure out Moon and then decide it didn't matter that he was a shapeshifter, despite her entire culture getting destroyed by shifters. Just surviving that takes a lot of strength, not to mention leaving everyone she knew behind to help Moon and Jade, and I'd love to read more about her.

Normally, I hate to be super specific in my requests, but I figure if you signed up for these two characters, you feel the same way :) If a fix-it is just not working for you, I would adore to see them just being together. My competence thing is heavily in effect here, as well as their mutual respect and good working relationship. Like Gisele said (I can't remember the exact quote, but it was in 6), they're both people whose work is central to who they are, and I think the reason their relationship is so great is because they have that foundation.

I...don't have a lot to add here? Seriously, all Tharkay all the time, whatever you want to do. I talked above in the the Lockout section about my thing for this character type, if that helps. More Blood of Tyrants h/c would be great, because there's only two in existence right now and I wrote one of them myself. :) I adore the way Tharkay just shows up in the books after clearly having adventures of his own. His interactions with Laurence are fascinatingly different than the rest of the crew, who are mostly either under his command or serving the same cause, and Tharkay's unique position outside of that with his own distinct worldview just lights up the page whenever he shows up.
