Yuletide letter
Dear Yuletide Author,
You are awesome! And terribly brave! (This is my second year doing Yuletide, but so far as I can tell, the appeal seems to lie in the adrenalized combination of writerly terror and fannish glee.) I hope my prompts have not scared you with their detail or number of exclamation points. Perhaps this post will reassure you.
I am an extremely omnivorous fan - multifannish, multi-pairing, open to basically any kink you may name as long as it's character-consistent. In general, as long as your characterization is solid, I will follow you anywhere. I'm open to all sorts of writing styles and genres - I have a slight preference for humor and romance, but I'm definitely a fan of dark content as well and have no problem with character death or a story making me cry.

clever dialogue (particularly of the banter subset)
worldbuilding
crossovers
AUs
pining
trust issues
cons & heists
friendship/partnership (i.e., characters who understand each other and/or work well together, whether gen or romantic)
outsider POV
how-they-met backstory

character-bashing
...yep, that's about it. I enjoy crackfic generally, but don't really want any for these fandoms.
REGARDING SEX
Gen, het, slash, threesomes, orgies, GSF - all of these are fine by me. Most kinks are good, too - I'm fond of bondage and rough sex in particular. Some of the more obscure kinks might not turn me on, but I'll read and enjoy just about anything as long as it feels natural to the character. Like, Watson from A Study in Emerald probably wouldn't have a tentacle kink due to the tentacled god-monsters controlling his world, but I could see him being into knifeplay. That sort of thing.
My Delicious account may be helpful in demonstrating what I liked about particular stories and general tropes I tag frequently. But feel free to ignore most or all of this if you have a great idea, because I also love surprises ;)
